Happy Holidays everyone! We have a big announcement we are excited to share with you!

Starting next month the  Global Brigades  Institutes will “open their doors” by kicking off a new era of experiential learning and student engagement covering the disciplines of global health, economic development, and language learning in order to enhance the professional development of Brigaders and improve our engagement with communities. The Institutes will offer both online and in-person learning opportunities to allow our members a better opportunity to effectively serve on Brigades and make their experiences in health and sustainable development more meaningful.

The first offering from our Institute of Language Learning will be:

Global Brigades is now offering students and health professionals with the opportunity to take a 8 week online certificate in Spanish focusing on vocabulary used in Global Health. After the 8 week Certificate Program, students will:

    ● acquire tangible language skills for a future health career

The first Spanish for Global Health program will start January 3rd and end on February 28th to prepare students for their upcoming 2013 Spring Brigades.
