Architecture Brigades: Although Global Brigades’ students are cramming for midterms in the library, construction of the secondary school in Santa Rosa continues moving forward thanks to the efforts of professional brigaders from DHL. 20 volunteers trekked to Santa Rosa and worked alongside community members to erect a roof over the library, bathrooms, and corridor and paint the walls in several new classrooms. Due to their hard work, the school is moving ever closer to its projected completion in December.The architecture team eagerly awaits the opening of the school as well as the opportunity to work with the volunteers from DHL once again. After all, they’ve already made a large impact on the school in Santa Rosa. Could the health center in El Cantón be next?
