The deadline to RSVP to the Student Leadership Conferences is fast approaching and we want a representative from every chapter attending as this is a very important time for all of the leaders within the organization to meet, brainstorm and discuss! The deadline to sign-up has been moved to August 3! Be sure to sign up now for this important event! Attending this conference will give you a much clearer view of the vision and mission of Global Brigades and will prepare you to be a more successful leader on campus. This year the conference will be completely focused on the discussion of program development, sustainability and how Global Brigades projects are funded. On the second day, Global Brigades Program Leads will present their potential projects and will ask what you think is important. With your feedback, the GB Campus Chairpersons will vote on how they would like Global Brigades funds distributed among different programs throughout the organization. As you can see, it’s critical every leader is there representing their program. If you cannot attend, please have another leader come in your place! Please RSVP soon so we can make the proper accommodations.  Every president is only responsible for airfare and Global Brigades is covering the rest of the associated costs. If you are planning to attend, you must sign up on  [empowered.org](http://empowered.org/). The deadlines to sign up are rapidly approaching!
