All Medical and Dental brigaders and healthcare professionals MUST bring a copy of their immunization record to participate in ALL aspects of upcoming Medical and Dental Brigades. Without a record you will ONLY be able to participate in observation and Data Informatics.
Because of the interactions you will have with patients, we have found that it is necessary for you to acquire ALL of the following vaccinations recommended by the CDC before coming in country:
· Hepatitis A
· Hepatitis B
· Typhoid
· MMR
· DPT
· Polio
· Varicella zoster*
* You must have this vaccination if you have not had chicken pox
