This is a great way to meet people from other schools, to experience a new Brigade, and it gives you the opportunity to be put in a leadership position to start your own Club on campus if you are interested.

Sign up as an individual or with a group of friends! You don’t have to start your own Club on campus to experience this Brigade! Students are invited to participate from all schools and clubs!

Help bring education to rural Honduran children this summer! Remember, you don’t have to be an architect to build a future! Architecture Brigades offers an amazing experience to students from a wide variety of disciplines. If you are interested in education, design, international relations, development, engineering, cultural and language studies, or just want to help bring sustainable solutions to under-resourced communities, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

The Project: You will be helping to construct Centro Basico Santa Rosa, a secondary school in Santa Rosa. The Hondnuran community of Santa Rosa has approximately 84 graduating 6th graders and will have over 250 7th, 8th, and 9th graders by 2013. Currently, if these students with to pursue an education beyond 6th grade, they must walk over an hour to the nearest secondary school. The goal of this project is to provide housing for education to Santa Rosa and the thirteen surrounding communities from 1st through 9th grade, as well as a community center space for the people of Santa Rosa.
