Is your chapter sending a representative to this year’s leadership conference?  If not, NOW IS THE TIME! If you are a campus chairperson, brigade president, or are considering leading a brigade in the future, this conference is for you! The conference is free and Global Brigades will cover your room and board at UC Berkeley for the weekend.  You just need to get there. Register for the conference, here.

What happens at the conference?

From August 9-11, more than 200 student leaders from across Canada and the U.S. will gather at the University of California, Berkeley (near San Francisco, CA) for a three-day training in leadership, fundraising, recruiting, brigade preparation, program feedback, and more! In just 72 hours, we will cover everything you need to know to run a successful Brigade and provide resources and opportunities for you to jumpstart your own career in global health and economic development including special guest speakers, expert panels and networking opportunities.

Global Brigades will cover all costs for accommodations and food for up to 2 student leaders per Brigade discipline on your campus (2 from medical, 2 from water, etc.) Before registering, please confirm with your brigade president who is representing your chapter. If you are not sure whether there is still room available, or if you don’t get a response from your chapter presidents, contact us and we will let you know.
