What did participants have to say about this year’s Student Leadership Conference in Philly?

“It is a great opportunity for people to discuss and share their experiences. This communication between leaders is extremely vital to the success of the organization in these countries because we need to work in unity. Talking about what works and what doesn’t is a great way to improve Brigades and also chapters on campus. It also gives the leaders a chance to bond with GB Staff. This familiarity can help us collaborate better. This conference also provides a well rounded knowledge of the organization which gives us the ability to talk about it to others with confidence and also passion. “

“It is so easy to just focus in on one program or one goal and forget about looking at the big picture and seeing what the little pieces of the puzzle end up causing at the macro level. The conference provides guidance and everyone is so willing to give advice. I know that I definitely left feeling much more prepared to start recruiting and fundraising and everything else for the coming brigades. I also feel strongly that it is imperative that we as leaders are able to successfully transmit the organization’s vision and talking about it within the GB community helps a lot.”
