It’s time to put theory into practice. Global Brigades is proud to present the very first social entrepreneurship business plan competition in conjunction with APTE. Hosted at The Ohio State University, the contest gives aspiring social entrepreneurs a chance to vie for $5K in start-up funds, join GB’s incubation program to test their sustainable solution, and showcase their plan at the Alleviating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship (APTE) summit on February 9th, 2013. The summit seeks to educate, impassion and empower individuals to alleviate poverty through market-based solutions on a local and global scale. Final presentations will include networking opportunities with key business leaders and speakers from all over the country.

Do you have a winning business plan? We want to see it!
To apply, submit a one-page executive summary of your plan and post a five minute presentation to YouTube by January 21st. Your video will be featured on GB’s own Social Entrepreneurship Competition playlist. Five finalists will be selected to present in Columbus on February 9th, 2013.
