As you may know, former president, Mel Zelaya, has returned to Tegucigalpa Honduras on Monday September 22nd.  A 26 hour curfew has been put in place as a safety measure so that neighborhood streets, including that of the Global Brigades’ headquarters, remain relatively quiet. The brigade group that arrived yesterday morning is safe and a significant distance away from the capital. They are currently in the state of El Paraiso and are remaining on the compound with the security of Global Brigades staff, guards, and police as added safety.  We will keep you updated on any changes and as news develops.

If you have any concerns or questions, please email: Shital Chauhan, CEO of Health Brigades at shital@globalbrigades.org.
