GB Week 2022 is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for February 14th-18th.
Global Brigades Chapters, staff, community leaders, interested volunteers, and alumni are encouraged to participate in events both virtually and on their campuses, in their local community, and actively engage with us on social media.Each day of GB Week is filled with virtual events and opportunities.
Monday, Feb. 14th: Collective Impact
- “Where Are We Now?”: A live virtual event hosted by CEO Shital Vora and Director of Impact & Evaluation Ben Erker: Register here!
- Launch GB Week on your social media accounts! Follow @globalbrigades to stay up to date.
Tuesday, Feb. 15th: The Volunteer Movement
- Host a volunteer or fundraising event on your campus.
- Share a photo with as many people in your chapter (socially distanced) as you can for a chance to win a prize.
- Tune in to our IG Live and hear directly from GB Alumni currently working in medicine.
Wednesday, Feb. 16th: Share Your GB Story
- Share your #MyGBStory on social media for a chance to be featured on the GB account! Don't forget to tag us.
- Join the GB Marketing Team to chat Social Media Best Practices for you and your chapter: Register here!
Thursday, Feb. 17th: Live Medical TeleBrigade Highlight
- Special Access: Preview a live Medical TeleBrigade session in dentistry, optometry, or patient consultation in our Honduras clinic!
- Registration is required for this event and each session will be limited to 15 participants. Register for a live virtual session here!
Friday, Feb. 18th: The Big Picture
- Share your photos with #GBWeek2022 for a chance to be re-shared on the GB Instagram.
- Fill out the closing survey by 3PM EST for a chance to win a full TeleBrigade Scholarship! Surveys will be provided to all participants during each of our virtual sessions. Each event you've attended gives you an additional entry.

Here are a few tips to make the most out of your GB Week:

- Register for our virtual events ahead of time. Spots are filling up quickly!
- Follow us on social media!
- Utilize social media to encourage participation in #GBWeek2022 and share your own GB experiences. Explore social media posts by other chapters and volunteers to connect with like-minded individuals.
- Host a celebration with your chapter, either virtually or in-person!
- Take time to reflect on your Brigade/TeleBrigade experiences and how GB has impacted you.
- Send a thank you message to someone who made your Brigade/TeleBrigade experience incredible!
- Explore ways you can stay involved and continue to be a global citizen.
